Our Children’s Parents Speak for Us

I have entrusted both of my children to the New Maryland Children’s Centre for the past six years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The Children’s Centre is clean, bright and welcoming with a terrific play area out back. The staff is kind, caring and nurturing and genuinely cares about each child. It is such a comfort to be able to drop my children off in the morning and know that they will be well cared for.

Positive Environment That Prepared My Boys for School

Both of my boys have attended the New Maryland Children's centre. The boys enjoyed the positive environment that the centre provided. Both boys were ready for school at the end of their preschool year. The teachers are very creative when working with the children in their charge. The facility is clean and well-kept, too.

A Wonderful Choice for Our Family

Sending our kids to NMCC was a wonderful choice for our family. Jodi has a mature, experienced and caring staff that go above and beyond what we have previously experienced. Our girls have been very happy there and have made great friends that, combined with the preschool curriculum, have helped them have a smooth transition to the school environment. Our Son Never Wants to Leave!

We are very happy with our experiences with New Maryland Children's Centre, with both the full-day program, pre-school and the before/after school program. The staff are warm and caring and it shows because our son is always excited to go there and never ready to leave. We were fortunate to have been told about NMCC, and would gladly recommend it to any parents looking for childcare.

The New Maryland Children's Centre hosts a fun-loving, educational, warm and caring environment. They are blessed with wonderful and qualified staff that I fully trust to care for both my children in fulltime day care/preschool as well as their afterschool program. Most importantly, my children are extremely happy there which makes my childcare decisions easy.

Flexible Hours and Reasonable Costs

Our child has been at the New Maryland Children's Centre for over a year and we couldn't be happier! The staff are well trained and loads of fun, the Centre is clean and there is a ton of space for the kids to run around outdoors. The hours of operation work well for our busy family (open till 6pm) and the costs are reasonable. Any concerns we have ever had have been immediately addressed. Jodi and her staff are very open to communication and it is obvious they enjoy what they do which reflects on our child’s face when we pick him up each day. Sometimes he doesn't want to leave!

Highly Recommend to Anyone Looking for Childcare

After having my son in an at-home day care, I decided it was time to prepare him for a preschool program. Being a teacher, I felt it was important for my son to build a routine similar to school and have more social interactions with other children his age. This decision took me a few months and when I finally did, New Maryland Children’s Center was the first place I called. They immediately took him in with loving arms and were very accommodating. They worked around my schedule and helped me every way they could in accommodating him as he had been at the same home (sitter) for two and a half years.

My son looks forward to going to the Children’s Center every day. He always comes home with stories what they did, where they went and what he learned. He has made many new friends and the teachers are absolutely amazing. They treat the children as if they were their own and make them feel like they belong. They go on fieldtrips, nature walks, they do arts and crafts, paint, colour, read, write, and spend so much time outside getting fresh air and movement into their day. There are so many wonderful things that go on daily and I can see why my son loves it there.

They love the children and that is what I love most, my son knows he is wanted there. I would recommend New Maryland Children’s Center to anyone. As I mentioned, being a teacher I know what it is like to see the little ones come to school for the first time and the worry in the parents’ eyes about leaving their child. I do not worry when I leave my son here, I know he is happy and taken care of the way I would take care of him. Keep up the great work!

Feel Like An Extension of Our Family

The staff at the New Maryland Children's Centre show passion, energy and love for all of the children, I feel they are an extension of our family. They have helped shape our son’s development in so many ways. There is truly something special going on at the New Maryland Children's Centre that we haven't seen anywhere else.

Preschool Graduation Was A Personal, Special Event

I am very happy with the service and staff and the New Maryland Children's Centre. I have two daughters (6 and 4 years old), my oldest attending preschool and now in after school care. My youngest daughter is currently enrolled in the preschool program. With all the years my children have been attending this day care I have no complaints. My children are always happy and having fun. I especially love the preschool graduation and all the crafts they make. The staff are always kind and patient. The personal touch is when your daughter moves from the 3 year old to preschool and her teacher made a binder that included photos and crafts from her last year.
