Licensed Childcare in New Maryland

We care for children from Hanwell, Beaver Dam areas, Oromocto, Charters Settlement and New Maryland. Put your child on a path of becoming a happy, independent and successful person by enrolling them in a licensed childcare program at New Maryland Children’s Centre Ltd or New Maryland Kidz' Klub. We are pleased to accept special needs children and families subsidized by the government. You can rest assured that your child is in safe hands because we are licensed annually and inspected regularly.

We Offer the Following Services:

School bus pickup and drop-off
Full-time and part-time day care (aged 2 to 4 preK)
After schoolers at New Maryland Kidz’ Klub
Balanced, nutritional lunch served on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (only provided for preschoolers)

Family Atmosphere with Low Staff Turnover

New Maryland Children’s Centre Ltd. has been a family-owned and -operated facility for over 30 years. We maintain a family-type atmosphere and take pride in our low staff turnover. Many of our staff members have Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification and can help your children develop the following:

Independence skills – This includes putting things within their reach and allowing them to make independent choices. We also encourage them to access their own water bottles for drinks throughout the day, get ready to go outside, etc.
Problem-solving abilities – We achieve this through games and stories, and encourage questions such as what should he/she do? And what would you do? This also includes guided interaction with peers.
Language and vocabulary skills – These skills can be developed through stories, music and group activities. Even normal conversations are a big part of our childcare program in New Maryland.
Social skills – These skills are important to learn what's appropriate and what’s not. It also includes table etiquette, using manners (please, thank you, excuse me), and learning respect for people and personal property.
Gross and fine motor skills – These sessions include games, activities, dancing, colouring, small-toy play, cutting and play-doh.

Flexible to Meet Your Specific Needs

New Maryland Kidz' Klub is available for full-day care whenever your child’s school is cancelled. We do not close due to weather unless it worsens. Our centre is closed on weekends, statutory holidays and Easter Monday. Depending on the need, we may be closed for an extra day or 2 over Christmas break.

Childcare and Education
