For many parents, their relationship with New Maryland Children’s Centre Ltd. does not end when their child starts school. We offer the New Maryland Kidz' Klub, a fun and educational after-school care program in New Maryland that your child will love. It allows for individual and group playtime. We promote critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving skills and socially acceptable behaviour. In case school is cancelled for the day, we can provide all-day care as well. If you have any questions, our friendly staff would be delighted to answer those. Listed below are a few features of the program:

Children in grades K-5 are cared for at the Kidz' Klub, providing an appropriate atmosphere for the older children

Our after-school childcare in New Maryland has lots of outdoor space and age-appropriate toys/equipment

Walking field trips to the different parks in the Village of New Maryland

We have lots of activities available but none are forced because these children have been "scheduled" all day, so now is the time for them to relax and have fun

School bus drops them off at roadside where they are met by their educators and accompanied into the building – full-time summer program is available

We ask that children be picked up by 5:30pm so cleaning and sanitizing can take place after they leave. Our after-school care is only closed for public holidays and weekends. We are rarely closed due to weather (i.e. snowstorms). If school is cancelled (PD days, Christmas holidays, March break, etc.,), we open for a full day.

Activities for Children

We leave it to the children to either partake in the activities planned or relax. Our qualified staff members are dedicated to providing good-quality care and plan a variety of fun play activities for your child. We can plan either theme-based activities or simpler ones such as indoor and outdoor games, puzzles, books, toys and construction materials.
